Bill Mann says that this 1955 Thunderbird was at the Hot August Nights Auction in Reno, Nevada in August, 2004. It is Torch Red (R) with a red and white interior (XB); scheduled for production on July 26, 1955 (26G). It has a port hole hard top, a soft top, fender skirts, 6-volt electrical system, power steering, power windows, power seat, power brakes, and engine dress-up kit. Arthur Ash III reports that as of November, 2004 it was for sale on eBay and was located in Sparks, Nevada. UPDATE, July 2013, Arthur Ash III reports it was for sale on ebay and located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The seller has a letter dated 1978 from Jack Lemmon stating that he received the car in lieu of cash for making an appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show.
