Del Jones says this about his 1962 Thunderbird Convertible: "This car was originally owned by Paramount Studios and used in seasons 5 & 6 of "Perry Mason" as Paul Drake's Thunderbird. This car is shown in many scenes where the two go out to put together their case. The car was sold to its 2nd owner from the Paramount back lot in 1963. From what this owner had stated; the car was also used in a Rose Bowl parade in its young life as well as pre-race ceremonies at the first grand prix race that was run in southern California. The car came with documentation from '63 to '09.
The car is Raven Black with black/grey bedford cloth seats. The Kelsey-Hayes wheels were added by the second owner."
