This 1957 Thunderbird is black with a black and white interior. It has Fordomatic transmission. It was sold in 2008 at the Scottsdale, Arizona sale of Barrett-Jackson for $150,700. Research by the seller says that this was the 6th-most-expensive 1957 Thunderbird built. UPDATE May 2018, Glen Hockenjos reports this 1957 Thunderbird is documented on page #18 of the May-June 2018 edition of Early Bird Magazine. It is part of a list of cars that was derived by a CTCI member who inventoried all 1957 invoices by original sales price. UPDATE May 2023 it was sold at the Mecum Auction in Kissimmee, January 2023.
