Robert Gibson says: My 1957 Thunderbird was purchased from a private owner in Yucaipa, California who had bought it from a Phoenix, Arizona resident in 1990. The car was delivered to me (a return to AZ for the Thunderbird) on January 13, 2005. It is equipped with power steering, air conditioning, Fordomatic, Town & Country radio, wire wheels, Coker www tires, porthole hardtop, and a white soft top. According to the original purchase order, the car was sold by a Glendale, California Ford dealer on Sept. 28, 1957. The history for the intervening years is unknown. This Thunderbird has an unusual continental kit, different than any I had previously encountered.
Arthur Ash III registered this Thunderbird on May 1, 2004: This 1957 Thunderbird has a 312 V-8 engine with dress-up kit, power steering, power brakes, wire wheels, SelectAire Conditioning, Continental kit, hardtop with portholes and a soft top. As of May, 2004 it was for sale on ebay and located in Highland, California. UPDATE September 2017, New York State DMV registration is current in Waterford, Saratoga County.
