Lloyd says: This Thunderbird was sold to Howard F. Kesler of Lansing, IL on December 4, 1957 by Caparros Motors, Inc., East Chicago, Indiana. It was bought as a gift for his wife. Mr. Kessler, his wife and their only child, a son, had moved to Middleburg, Virginia and this car moved with them. Mr. Kessler died in the 1980's. His wife died about 2009. Their son, Dr. Richard W. Kesler, taught medicine at the University of VA in Charlottesville, Virginia. At some time in the past Dr. Kesler became the registered owner of the car. I bought this car from Dr. Kessler in January, 2018.
