Hub Steenbakkers says: My 1957 Thunderbird was formerly owned by Michael Shelby, Carrol Shelby's son. It was purchased as a rust bucket in 1986, restored with all new Budd stamping front and rear quarters purchased from Ford of Canada through my Ford dealer in Ottawa. A rebuilt 292, T-5 transmission, disc brake front and rack and pinion steering make this an enjoyable car to drive. The original color was Colonial White, changed to bright red when rebuilt.
